The traditional Fira del Vi de Pollença will return on May 6 and 7 to the Claustre de Sant Domingo after two years of being held in Can Conill due to the pandemic. This will be a special edition, since it will be 20 years since the "Associació Vi Primitiu" promoted this already consolidated initiative. As a novelty, a tent will be set up outside the cloister where the tastings of the participating wineries will take place during the two days of the fair and on Friday the 5th in the afternoon the pianist Lluis Capdevila will perform.
Without a doubt, it is an event that deserves a visit to the town of Pollença since nearly 40 wineries are going to participate in this edition and there will be many wines that can be tasted. In addition to the visit to the Claustre de Sant Domingo, a 16th century building where the acclaimed "International Music Festival of Pollença" is also held.
The Fira will open on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., while on Sunday it can be visited from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The entrance will be 15 euros with a gift glass and a voucher of 5 euros to buy wine. The box office will be open until one hour before closing.
